Karen Heng is a Singaporean Water Marbling Artist and

founder of Slik Studios. She first came across marbling art through a Youtube video which sparked her interest and curiosity to this art form. Her interest grew with her passion in the arts and saw marbling not just as an art form but as a medium to make art more accessible to everyone. Since 2015, she has gone on a journey of discovery to unravel the beauty and intricacies of creating and perfecting her art form.

A graduate of LASALLE College of the Arts, She has worked with many international brands and companies like CHANEL, Clarins, Sony, and SHELL in many of their promotional campaigns. She has also taught more than 100 school workshops in Singapore and worked with over 300 companies in Singapore. Her most memorable experience was her first overseas art demonstration in Tokyo Japan with Collins Debden Singapore.

 

She looks up to Turkish Ebru Masters like Garip Ay and Kubilay Eralp Dincer as inspirational figures to continue improving and creating more magical moments for her audiences here in Singapore.
